Not only will you be encouraged to create mindmaps for all the Fact Files, but to apply the technique to any application where you need to learn and memory information. The mindmap is drawn in freehand using a black pen and coloured felt tipped pens. Mindmaps can be as simple or as complicated as you wish, it's not unusual for some mindmap enthusiasts to created mindmaps containing hundreds of facts. What's important it the mindmap should be meaningful for the person who creates it. It's a pictorial method of representing information; the brain has a far greater capacity to memorise images than lists of facts. The mindmap builds on this virtue - think in images, think in mindmaps.

Music

The importance of music cannot be overemphasised in the intellectual development of the young. If not participating by playing a musical instrument then by listening to right music which creates a positive and stimulating learning environment. This is why every book in the Omega 321 Programme comes with it own CD containing music created in the Baroque era (1680 to 1760) and the early classical (1760 to 1790). Building on the Mozart Effect, a music environment is ideal for creating a healthy learning experience.

A crucial component in any learning experience is confidence - knowing that you are succeeding.
