From the Introduction

In Book 7 you will be introduced to calculus. This is a branch of mathematics which is vital to almost every application of mathematics for modelling complex systems. You cannot be a proficient mathematician unless you have a sound understanding of calculus. Calculus comes in two sections differentiation and integration. Book 7 is given over predominately to differentiation - you need a good understanding of differentiation before you can understand integration which will be introduced in Book 8 of the Omega 321 Programme.
