From the Introduction

Having worked through the previous five books your mathematical skills have been developing and your knowledge base has expanded from reading the numerous Fact Files. You will also have been sharpening your intelligence and your intellect as you've journeyed through the programme so far. In Book 6 you will be presented with more new concepts which will build on the knowledge you have already gained. By now you will have realised that not only has your knowledge base expanded, but you have further refined and expanded your mathematical skills. As emphasised in the previous book, the importance of practice cannot be overstated - the more you practice mathematics the more proficient you will become and the greater the development of your intellect.
